Day 01: Arrival in Calicut

Calicut  pays an ideal host to your Heritage of  Kerala tour. A warm reception at the airport by our staff representative on your arrival in Calicut.  Later you will be transferred to the Vasco Da Gama beach resort which will provide an ideal accommodation in the town. The resort derived its name engraved in Indian history after the Portuguese explorer Vasco Da Gama. Calicut is the first Indian town where he explored.

Enjoy a sumptuous dinner at the resort and retire for the rest of the night at the hotel.

Day 02: Calicut

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the resort and set forth a visit Beypore. The site is quite famous for Asia’s biggest wood market and traditional wooden ship making industry. The city had mastered in making wooden boats since the 18th century. You will just love to explore the artistic brilliance of the craftsmen in Calicut.

Day 03: Calicut- Mahe

Your third day of the South India Heritage Tour starts with a sumptuous breakfast at the resort. Later you will be driven to Mahe which is located on the shores of Arabian Sea. Mahe is quite famous as a traditional and cultural city of Kerala.

On your arrival in Mahe you will be received and assisted by our staff representative into a private cottage already pre-booked by us.

In the afternoon enjoy a short trip to the fort and mosque located in the town. Return back to hotel after the trip and stay overnight after a scrumptious dinner.

Day 04: Mahe
On this fourth day of your India tour you will enjoy a city tour of Mahe. Post breakfast you will set off for the trip guided by our staff representative. Highlights of the tour include visit to the Kerala Traditiopnal Dance centre where you can witness Thayum and Kalari Pati which is popular dances in the state.

After the splendid trip in Mahe, return back to the cottage and stay overnight after a sumptuous meal at the cottage.

Day 05: Mahe -Wyannad

Post breakfast drive to Wyannad bidding farewell to Mahe. Wyannad is famous for its lush green rainforests. On your arrival in Wyannad you will be cosily accommodated in an eco-friendly resort which duly matches your travel requirements. You will also be provided ample opportunities for bird watching, trekking and elephant ride at the nearby Muthanga Sanctuary during your stay in the resort.

Day 06: Wayannad 

On this sixth day of your Kerala tour you will explore a trip to the nearby village and tribal museum. Post lunch you will enjoy trekking to an exciting ancient cave which will provide a glimpse into the affluent Indian civilization.

Day 07: Wayanand- Cheruthuruthy

Post breakfast drive to Cheruthuruthy from Wayannad. The site is famous for the school of traditional art and dance- Natya Kala Mandalam. On arrival in Cheruthuruthy you will be assisted to check into a desired hotel.

Post lunch you will set forth for a trip to the Natya Kala Mandalam guided by our tour representative. The Natya Kala Mandalam is quite well known for local potters and weavers which are quite famous for their handiness.

 Return back to the hotel after the trip and relax awhile. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner and retire for the rest of the night at the hotel.

Day 08: Cheruthuruthy- Cochin

Post breakfast you will be driven to Cochin. On your arrival in Cochin you will be accommodated in a desired hotel of your choice.
Post lunch you will explore a sightseeing tour of the city which has fascinating attractions. Highlights of the trip include Fort Cochin, Jewish Synagogue, Spice markets etc.
Return back from the trip and relax awhile. Later enjoy a sumptuous South Indian feast and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 09: Cochin- Onward Destination

Post breakfast you will be transferred on time to the Cochin airport guided by our staff executive. With pleasant memories of your heritage tour itinerary you will return back to your onward destination with best compliments from our team.
