On your arrival at Delhi International Airport you will be welcomed by our representative with a meticulously constructed itinerary for wilderness tour of Central India. Thereafter guests will be transferred to a hotel as previously planned for your stay in the city while on a Central India tour.

At Delhi this day will be devoted to a full day excursion of this national capital of India. Post breakfast guests will first pay a visit to the tourist attractions of Old Delhi. This sightseeing tour will include various monuments such as the spectacular red sandstone edifice- Red Fort, Raj Ghat- the memorial of Mahtma Gandi, the largest mosque of India- Jama Masjid and the oldest shopping area of Chandini Chowk.

The tour of New Delhi will include visit to Qutub Minar, stunning Humayun Tomb and will include a drive past India Gate, President House and other government buildings. This eventful day will be concluded with a drive back to hotel where they will reside for the night.

On this day guests will begin their day with an appetizing meal followed by a drive to the next destination Umaria. The journey will include an en- route visit to Agra the historic city of Mughal empire. At Agra guests will be accommodated in a lobby for booked previously by our tour operator in Agra.

Enjoy an extensive tour of the city beginning first with the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Taj Mahal the glorious emblem of love. Afternoon will be assigned to another journey guests will board a train to Umaria at 3:30 in the evening; Guests will spend the night onboard and will reach Umaria the next day.

Guests will reach Umaria early in the morning at 6:16 and drive to one of the most popular tiger reserves of India, Bandhavagarh National Park which will begin your jungle tour of India. Explore the verdant environs of the park and the afternoon will be devoted to an evening game viewing drive in the park in the north- east corner of the of the Maikal range of hills at the park. The park is renowned for good density of predators including tigers, leopard, wolf, wild dog and jackal, wild boar etc. Explore the adjacent historical and religious monuments such as Bandhavgarh Fort and temples. Guests then will drive to the jungle lodge where they will stay for the night.

On this day guests will visit one of the most popular jungles in Central India- the Bandhavgarh National Park. The morning will begin with a sumptuous meal at the forest lodge followed by a morning game view drive in the park. Guests will return to the lodge and will relish an appetizing meal and rest for a while. Later evening drive to the park will be an experience for life time and guests then will return to lodge for an overnight stay.

On the morning of this day guests will be served an appetizing meal in the morning and then will drive to the next destination- Kanha. At Kanha our representative will check into a jungle lodge which is ideal for experiencing the pure essence of natural bounty where guests will stay for the night.

At Kanha this day of wilderness tour of Central India will begin with a sumptuous meal and thereafter guests will begin their morning safari amidst the stunningly beauteous forests of Kanha. Thereafter guests will return to their lodge where they will be served a sumptuous lunch and rest for a while. At evening guests will continue with the jungle safari at the park and will drive back to the jungle lodge for an overnight stay.

Your India tour then will include a morning drive to princely state of Kawardha where you will get the first exposure to tribal area of Bastar. At Kawardha guests will check in to a hotel for the night stay. Post lunch at hotel guests will enjoy a half day sightseeing tour of Kawardha including exquisite group of Temples which are also known as the ‘Khajuraho of Chattisgarh’ which are famous for its stunning carvings. Sightseeing tour will include Lohara Bavali and an ancient Krishna Temple. Thereafter return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

In the morning guests will depart for an extensive day tour to visit Baiga which is a tribal region and consists of various tribal villages such as Gond and Tolas. Guests will explore the region which will give them an opportunity to view the simple ways of life at tribal regions. Guests then will return to Kawardha to reside at their hotel for overnight stay.

This day of the wilderness tour of Central India will begin with a drive to Kanker where they will reach by afternoon and will be escorted in a hotel for an overnight stay. Post lunch at your hotel you will be provided an opportunity to explore the surroundings and peeping into the peaceful settlements of tribal life at Central India. Return to the hotel where you will spend the rest of the night.

Morning of this day will be spent proceeding to a for a full day excursion to nearby forests and villages. Post breakfast guests will witness more tribal life of this region by climbing the Keshkal Ghat in south of Kanker which marks the border of Bastar. Visit the colorful weekly markets thereafter at Kondagaon and Narayanpur go for shopping of some of the unique handicrafts of Bastar. Return to Kanker in the evening where you will reside in the hotel for an overnight stay.

Post breakfast guests will depart from Kanker to reach the next destination- Jagdalpur. Jagdalpur is the main commercial hub of the tribes of the region. Guests will be accommodated in a hotel for an overnight stay. The afternoon will bring a visit to Anthropological which provides a peep into the lifestyle of various tribes in Bastar. Also visit Chitrakot the scenic waterfall on River Indravati, this horse shoe shaped waterfall is a fascinating site where guests will enjoy a beautiful day. Later return to the hotel for the night stay.

This entire day guests will spend at exploring the different tribal villages. Here guests will get an opportunity to view predominant tribes of Bastar such as Halbas, Abudjamadis or Abujmariya or Hill Maria, Muria, Gonds etc. Guests will visit some of the most unique tribes such as the agriculturists Halbas tribe, the semi- nomadic farmer Hill Maria tribe, the largest tribal group in India-Gonds etc. Later in the evening retire to the hotel for an overnight stay.

This day of your wilderness tour of Central India will be attributed to a unique experience of visiting some of the traditional arts and crafts of Bastar. These traditional arts and crafts comprises of wood craft to terracotta, tribal weaving, stone carving, Iron craft and the Bamboo crafts some of the most exquisite arts. In the evening return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

At Jagdalpur on this day guests will begin the day with a sumptuous meal and will then prepare for a journey to Raipur. At Raipur our representative will escort you and will make all the arrangements for your comfortable flight back to Delhi. At Delhi our representative will lead you to the hotel booked previously for your night stay in the city.

On the final day of an illustrious wilderness tour of Central India guests will be escorted to Delhi International Airport. At Airport our representative will make all the arrangements for your comfortable flight to back home.
